Whats on…….

A Coffee morning will be held on Saturday 24th March, lots of homemade cakes to tempt the palate and hot buttered teacakes – who could want more! A fun raffle and book stall will also aid Gargrave Village Hall funds . 9.a.m – Noon.

Broadway Fairs will be holding a Flea Market and Collectables Fair on Sunday 25th March from 10.a.m – 3.30.p.m. Light refreshments available until 3.p.m. Outdoor plant stall.

A Picnic supper dance will be held on Good Friday from 7.30.p.m. Live music for ballroom and sequence dance will be provided by Alan Cookson. £5.00 admission.

Gargrave Village Hall Management Committee will be holding a two day Easter Flea Market, Vintage, Collectables and Craft Fair on Sunday 1st April and Monday 2nd April from 10.a.m to 4.p.m on both days. There will be lots of stalls and something different to see each day as some stallholders will just be there on the one day ( some both ). Light refreshments available both days. The plant stall will just be there on the Sunday. Only 50p admission.

Whats On?

A Coffee morning will be held on Saturday morning in the Village Hall ( Saturday 17th March ), commencing at 9.a.m until Noon. Please come along and enjoy toasted teacakes and/or delicious homemade cakes. A fun raffle and book stall will further boost Hall funds.

A weekend of Fairs coming up….

Hopefully Spring will have arrived for the forthcoming weekend ( March 10th/11th ) as both Saturday and Sunday will see plenty of activity at the Village Hall.

A Book Fair will be held on Saturday from 10.a.m  until  4.p.m. There will be thousands of Antiquarian and secondhand books for sale covering every subject. Light refreshments will be served until 3.p.m. 60p admission.

A Collectables, Vintage, Flea Market and Craft Fair will be held on Sunday from 10.a.m until 4.p.m. This is the first Fair of the New Year which is run by Gargrave Village Hall Management Committee, the organisers have enjoyed a Winter break but now return for their regular monthly events which are generally held in the middle of each month ( Broadway Fairs are held on the last Sunday of each month ). There will be regular stallholders in attendance as well as now ones who will be selling a great variety of interesting and affordable items. Not too late for a Mothers day gift!!!

Weekend News…. Events will go ahead despite the weather!

The Jay Walkers drama company will be returning to the Village Hall on Friday evening ( 2nd March ) to present The Visitors by Barney Norris.  The play is charming, heart warming and moving and will make you both laugh and cry as it addresses the current themes of ageing and  family support – don`t worry there is also humour, happy memories and a tender look at a long and happy marriage. The Play commences at 7.30.p.m and tickets are available on the door priced at £8.00. www.thejaywalkers.co.uk

A Village Spring Fayre will be held on Saturday commencing at 10.a.m until Noon. There will be various stalls selling Cakes and Produce, Toys, Crafts, and Jewellery. A Chocolate Tombola and Raffle will also aid funds. All proceeds from the event will go towards supporting the Isaiah Trust which helps to bring hope and support to the orphaned street children of Kisumu in Kenya. £2 entry will include Coffee and Buns.

A busy weekend ahead….

A picnic supper dance organised by the Ladies section of the Village Hall will be kicking off a busy weekend of events. Bill Johnson will be providing the live music on Friday 23rd February for sequence and ballroom dance. Admission £5.00 on the door. Please bring along your own picnic supper and dancing shoes!  7.30.p.m until 11.p.m.

Sue, Helen, Edward and Joan will be hosting the Coffee morning on Saturday on behalf of Gargrave Village Hall Management Committee. Please join them for a fun raffle, book stall and of course delicious cakes. Open 9.a.m until Noon. All proceeds for Village Hall funds.

Sheila of Broadway Fairs will be holding a Flea Market on Sunday from 10.a.m until 3.30.p.m. A good variety of stalls will be selling Collectables, Antiques, Bric a Brac and Crafts. Light refreshments available until 3.p.m.

Tickets are on sale now for the Gargrave Village Hall Pantomime production of Peter Pan.

The clock inside the hungry crocodile is ticking down to the opening night, Thursday 15th February.

There are evening performances at 7.15.p.m om Thursday, Friday and Saturday .

A Matinee performance will take place on Saturday 17th February at 2.15.p.m.

Tickets are on sale from Gargrave and Malhamdale Library and from the Dalesman Café. Advance tickets are priced at £6 per adult and £4 for Concessions. On the door they are £7.00 and £5.00.

The first Flea Market of the New Year will return to the Hall on Sunday 28th January. The event is run by Sheila of Broadway Fairs. ( 01757 229805). There will be lots of stalls selling Antiques, Vintage, Collectables and All Sorts! The event opens at 10.a.m. Refreshments will be available. 50p Admission.

The Coffee morning on Saturday 20th January will  be held in aid of general Village Hall Funds. Forget the New Year diet come along and feast on hot buttered teacakes and a variety of homemade cakes ( sample Edwards famous Victoria Sandwich)!

A raffle will also aid Hall Funds. Edward may also be making a Cake for one of the Raffle prizes so please come along just in case  he does and if you win, you can eat a whole one!!!!!!!

Christmas Flea Market

A Christmas Flea Market, Vintage, Collectables and Crafts Fair will be held on Sunday 10th December. There will be stalls selling Antiques, Collectables, Jewellery, Books, Vintage, Bric a Brac and Crafts.

Please come along and meet some of the new stallholders who will be exhibiting crafts at the hall for the first time, enjoy a relaxed shopping experience in a convivial atmosphere where you can find that special and unique Christmas gift. Homemade refreshments will be provided by members of Gargrave Village Hall Management Committee from 9.a.m – 4.p.m. Admission 50p in aid of hall funds.
