Unfortunately due to the new lockdown restrictions implemented from Thursday 5th November we are closing the Village Hall and Snooker Hall until the restrictions are lifted. Fingers crossed this is just until the beginning of December when we shall look forward to welcoming our exercise and small group classes back – again!!
The Library is closed for browsing and borrowing but the select/collect and home delivery services will still be operating as will access to the IT service. The latter is by appointment only, it includes use of a computer and/or photocopier. The Village Hall has hundreds of books for sale, very reasonably priced 50p paperbacks and £1.00 hardbacks. If you enjoy reading books by a particular author please contact 07989585564/01756 749235 info@gargravevillagehall.org.uk we may just have the one you are looking for. Normally the books would be for sale at Coffee mornings and Flea Markets but this has not been possible since March. We also, due to the kindness of others have a number of donated items for sale in aid of Hall funds. One or two will be placed on the website and listed on the Village Hall noticeboard over the next few weeks, many thanks to those who have already made purchases. Cash sales only please, collection will be at a social distance outside the premises or if you are isolating a doorstep delivery can be arranged.
