The Tai Chi and Qigong group meet in the Village Hall Annex on Wednesday afternoons during term time from 1.p.m to 2.30.p.m.

The ancient practices can be undertaken by both sitting and standing, through movement or being still. The movements are gentle and slow, taking the strain out of muscles and joints.

Tai Chi can help with pain and stiffness, exhaustion and relieve unhelpful moods. The practice can relieve body tension and enables relaxation which can help with general well being and good health.

Tai Chi can be practiced by anyone, whatever their condition and ability. Some class members have attended the sessions for a number of years whilst others are just beginning to learn the techniques, new members are always most welcome.
