The Gargrave Pantomime group will be hosting a Coffee morning on Saturday commencing at 10.a.m until Noon.

Yes its finally here after months of planning – our big event on Sunday 7th October – the first ever Wedding and Occasions Fayre at Gargrave Village Hall. A fantastic range of suppliers and ideas for every occasion. Great gift idea`s ( not long until Christmas ). Dress agency clothing, childrenswear, jewellery, photography, Vintage crockery for sale or hire, Vintage bespoke embroidered christening gowns, catering, relaxation and aromatherapy, health and beauty, sweets, events hire, cakes, pamper boxes, florists, relaxing live music, even ideas for your pets for the big occasion and doves to greet you at the door!!!!

Simply everything for the perfect celebration, wedding or party.

Refreshments available throughout the day. Morning Coffee – Homemade Cakes – Afternoon Tea.

Raffle with some great prizes kindly donated by the Suppliers – Vouchers, Gifts , bottles etc.

Gargrave and Malhamdale Library will be showing the film ” Finding your Feet” at Gargrave Village Hall on Friday 21st September. The feel good comedy will commence at 7.30.p.m. Doors open at 7.p.m. Admission is 5.00 on the door with accompanied under 16`s free.

No Coffee morning on Saturday due to a private booking.

Bee Faulkner will be restarting her Pilates classes in the Village Hall Annex  after the Summer break on Tuesday 11th September and Friday 14th September –  Classes on Tuesday are 10.a.m Mat based ( mixed ability ) and 11.30.a.m ( standing and seated exercise) . Gargrave Village Hall Pantomime group will be holding a sign up night for cast and back stage crew on Thursday 13th September at 6.30.p.m. in the Village Hall. This is for anybody and everybody who would like to be involved in the 2019 production of Sleeping Beauty ( 28th February to 2nd March 2019 ).

There will be no Coffee morning on the 25th August.

Bank holiday weekend Flea Markets, Vintage and Craft Fairs will be held at the hall on Sunday 26th August and Monday 27th August.  Broadway Fairs will be hosting the Sunday event and on Monday Gargrave Village Hall Management team will take over the reins. Broadway Fairs open 10.a.m – 3.30.p.m. Management Fair opens 10.a.m – 4.p.m. Light refreshments available both days. The Management team will be providing the catering on Monday – lots of homemade cakes!

Andy Wiseman will be presenting a Neil Diamond Tribute evening ” Touching me, touching you” on Saturday September 15th. Tickets are now on sale and available from the Dalesman Café in Gargrave or Angela and Gillians hairdressers, entrance via Poppyfields Florists on the High street in Gargrave. The Pantomime group will be presenting Sleeping Beauty on the 28th February to 2nd March 2019. Sign up night is on Thursday 13th September at 6.30.p.m in the Village Hall. This is for everybody and anybody who wants to be involved, whether on stage or out of the limelight. There will be dance workshops for the children on the 20th and 27th September with auditions for principal parts on Sunday 30th .

A Picnic supper dance will be taking place on Friday evening ( 10th August ) from 7.30.p.m until 11.p.m. Music for ballroom and sequence dance will be provided by popular Cumbrian musician Denis Westmorland. Admission is 5.00. Please bring along your own picnic supper.

A Coffee morning will be held on Saturday from 10.a.m. Please drop in for toasted teacakes and homemade cakes. A book stall and fun raffle will also aid Village Hall funds.

The Fuchsia and Geranium group will be holding their annual Show at the Village Hall on Sunday ( 12th August ). Doors open to view the prize winning exhibits at Noon. Light refreshments available.

The Pantomime group are getting organised for their annual production in 2019 ( February half term ). There will be no Coffee mornings at the Village Hall on Saturday 21st and 28th July due to private bookings. We extend congratulations and best wishes to both of the celebratory functions!

A Flea Market, Crafts and All sorts Fair takes place on Sunday 29th July. 10.a.m – 3.30.p.m.

The annual Jumble sale will be taking place on Saturday 4th August, donations of goods may be left at the Hall, any Monday morning leading up to the event or alternately anytime on Thursday 2nd August or Friday 3rd August. More importantly do come along on Saturday 4th August to purchase all the bargains, there are hundreds of them. In particular there are large amounts of good quality curtains, cushions and bedding. Only 20p admission. Light refreshments and Tombola.

The annual Art Show commences on Thursday ( 12th July ) and will run through until Sunday ( 15th July ). There is a fantastic display of paintings by local artists from both the Craven area and beyond.

Last years winning artist with best in show was Lesley Woodhouse and she has her own individual display of mixed media work in the Committee room alongside works from members of the Monday Art group.

Children from Gargrave pre school and Junior school are also proudly exhibiting their Art work.

There is no admission charge to the show and light refreshments are available courtesy of Gargrave WI.

The team at Ambitions Gymnastics are looking forward to meeting new members on Wednesdays and Fridays at their classes at Gargrave Village Hall. The first class begins on Wednesday 13th June and the programme will be delivering lots of fun, bright colourful equipment, enthusiastic and experienced Gymnastics coaches and structured programmes with progression and certification. Pre school children can attend on Wednesday and/or Friday mornings and children, five years plus on Wednesday evenings. Sunday – Flea Market, Vintage, Collectables and Crafts. The hall will be full of stalls selling a large range of unusual and affordable goods. Outdoor plant stall. Light refreshments. Only 50p admission.
