Firstly a big thank you to an incredibly talented trio who performed last Sunday at the Village Hall. Arthur Geldard sang songs made famous by the likes of Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra and Co, and did he sing well – what a fantastic voice. He was backed by two equally talented musicians in the form of John Fuller and Trish Ferrarin. They all really enjoyed performing at the Village Hall and like everyone else enjoyed the delicious homemade afternoon tea which was served in the interval.
This weekend we have a Coffee morning on Saturday commencing at 10.a.m. Bacon sandwiches, hot buttered teacakes ( well the weather may cool down by then ) and homemade cakes are on the menu. A fun raffle and book stall will also aid funds.
Broadway Fairs will be holding a Flea Market and Allsorts Fair on Sunday from 10.a.m until 3.30.p.m. Light refreshments served until 3.p.m. 50p admission.
