Apologies in advance to anyone inconvenienced by the on going work in readiness for the re-surfacing of the carpark. Originally the contractors were booked to tarmac and complete the work to the carpark on Monday and Tuesday 9th and 10th July but the temperatures have continued to rise which was not foreseen when the work was planned so it has now been decided to postpone the work until the weather cools down. This is a disappointment as plans were to have the work completed ready for the busy summer months of events commencing with the Art show next week. However the good news is that the landscaped area at the edge of the carpark has now been covered with a membrane and wood chippings ready for the planting of shrubs and replacement tree`s, the planting will be undertaken in September – weather allowing!!!
