The weekend ahead…

The fortnights go by so quickly so its back to Man Friday, a social morning for the menfolk where they can have a good chat over unlimited hot drinks and homemade cake for £3.00. The mornings are held in the Matchroom from 10.a.m until Noon, access via the back door and then immediate turn right on entry. Cards, dominoes, scrabble and chess are available if wished. The library is also open in the front foyer of the Hall from 10.30.a.m until 11.30.a.m for any attending the social morning to join the community Library where they can borrow up to three books per time and handily swop them the following fortnight, they can also have access to ancestry websites.

Pop into the match room on Saturday from 10.30.a.m when members of the Heritage group will be giving a talk about the soldiers and their families from the Village during the period of the First World War. This is a free event organised by Gargrave Library Committee, coffee and biscuits will be provided. A raffle will aid the RBL Poppy appeal.

A baby boutique sale will be held on Sunday in the main hall from 11.a.m until 12.30.p.m. Thousands of pre loved items, high street and designer clothing, toys and equipment. Admission is £2.00. Some fantastic bargains. info@boutiquebabysale.co.uk
