Menfolk are invited along to the match room at the hall on Friday morning ( 14th August ) to enjoy a social chat, not forgetting the unlimited homemade cake and hot drinks for just £3.00. Open 10.a.m until Noon. Cards and dominoes available if wished but generally there is too much chatting taking place to take part in any games! The Man Fridays are held fortnightly, next one 28th August.
The Cumbrian musician Denis Westmorland will be at the Hall on Friday evening playing live music for modern sequence dancing. Please bring along your own Picnic supper, tea and coffee will be provided in the interval. Admission is £6.00 per person, cash only please. The music commences at 7.30.p.m until 11.p.m. A raffle will aid Village Hall funds.
