The long-awaited return of the popular Organist Elizabeth Harrison is here at last. Elizabeth plays for dance competitions at Blackpool Tower Ballroom and on Friday evening 11th November she will be providing the live music for the Picnic supper dance at Gargrave Village Hall. The event commences at 7.30.p.m until 11.p.m. Please bring along your own Picnic supper. Tea and Coffee will be provided in the interval. A raffle will aid Village Hall funds. Admission is £6.00 per person on the door.
Gargrave Village Hall Management Committee will be hosting a Vintage, Collectable and Craft Fair on Sunday. There will be one or two new faces selling a great variety of items, both unique and affordable. There will even be the opportunity to purchase some remote-control boats. These items have been the hobby of a gentleman who has now decided to part company with them, a great idea for an unusual Christmas gift.
The Village Hall will also have its own sales table which includes the ever-popular 50p rummage box. The event opens at 9.30.a.m and closes at 3.30.p.m. Lights refreshments available until 3.p.m.
A two-minute silence will be held at 11.a.m to remember those who have lost their lives through conflict.
Booklets are now available which list all the Fairs in 2023. If you are unable to collect one in person please contact 07989585564 and arrangements can be made to post one.
