Thanks to all who came along to celebrate the Kings Coronation at the Village Hall on Sunday ( 7th May ). The popular local group Silhouette played live music throughout the afternoon and in the interval a homemade tea was served with endless cups of tea. Everyone had a good time and it was great to see some of the audience dancing especially the lovely lady from Neville House Care Home who even managed to find a younger dance partner! Special thanks to all those on Gargrave Village Hall Management Committee and their friends who decorated the Hall ( inside and out ), prepared all the sandwiches, served the afternoon tea and tidied up at the end of a long day. Big thanks to our two wonderful ladies who baked all the scones and cupcakes. There were lucky winners too who went home with some Royal raffle prizes but most importantly everyone went home having shared some special memories in celebrating the Coronation.
