Gargrave Cinema club ( organised by the volunteers of Gargrave community Library ) will be showing the film` What`s love got to do with it` on Friday 22nd September, It will be the first film of the new season, with one shown per month through until late Spring 2024. The British comedy is set between London and Lahore and tells the story of a film maker who documents her childhood friend and neighbours arranged marriage to a bride from Pakistan and the pitfalls along the way. Starring Lily James, Shazad Latif and Emma Thompson.
Cafe style seating will be in place, so please bring your own refreshments. Village Hall doors open at 7.p.m with the film starting at 7.30.p.m. Tickets are £5.00 on the door with accompanied under sixteens free. A raffle will also aid Library funds which help towards the running costs of the important Village facility.
