Something for everyone on Friday 13th February at the Village Hall.
Commencing with Man Friday , a social morning for Gents to have a good catch up and put the world to rights. Unlimited hot drinks and biscuits ( maybe even cake) included in the £3 admission charge. Match room 10.a.m until Noon, entrance via the kitchen door then immediate turn right on entry.
Head to the Annexe at 2.p.m for a soap making demonstration at the 22 group meeting. £11 for non members this includes the soap which you will have made and may take home and also includes refreshments.
Dance the night away in the main Hall from 7.30.p.m when local group Silhouette will be providing the live music. Please bring along your own Picnic supper, tea and coffee will be provided in the interval. Admission is £6.00 per person on the door, cash only please. A raffle will also aid Hall funds. The event closes at 11.p.m.
Anyone attending the D4 driver medicals on Saturday morning please follow the signs to the Annexe ( via back door to right of Hall). Private party in the main Hall. Panto rehearsal in the main Hall on Sunday.
Looking ahead there will be the first Book Fair of the New Year on Saturday 7th March. A great selection of stalls selling a huge range range of books. Open 10.a.m – 4.p.m. Food served all day.50p admission. Children`s author Mary Brown will be in attendance to promote her book: Mrs. Brown and friends – The morning rush. A delightful story filled with whimsical characters and enchanting adventures that will captivate young readers. Centred around the theme of friendship and kindness wrapped in a narrative that is both entertaining and educational. The following day, Sunday 8th March , there will be the monthly Collectable and Craft Fair.
