On Friday March 28th Gargrave Cinema club will be showing the comedy drama Thelma. When 93 year old Thelma Post gets duped by a phone scammer pretending to be her grandson, she sets out on a treacherous quest across the city to reclaim what was taken from her. Starring June Squibb, Fred Hechinger and Richard Roundtree. The customary Cafe style seating will be in place, so please bring your own refreshments. Gargrave Village Hall doors open at 7.p.m with the film commencing at 7.30.p.m. Tickets are £5 cash on the door with accompanied under sixteens free. Sorry but only guide dogs can be allowed in to this event. All proceeds from the night go towards the running costs of the Community Library. Looking ahead to April 25th the club will be screening the highly acclaimed film Conclave.
