We shall be holding five Book Fairs at the Village Hall during 2026. The first of the year will be held on Saturday 7th March. Doors open at 10.a.m until 4.p.m. Admission is 50p or by donation. There are thousands of books for sale, ranging from general titles through to speciality, rare and antiquarian. Many of the stallholders are established book dealers who come from all over the North West of England. Occasionally there may be local authors in attendance promoting and signing their work. Food is available all day. A local lady will also have a plant stall at the Hall.
In 2021 we trialled a mid week Book Fair in the summer which went exceptionally well so we continue to hold one each year and in 2026 it will take place on Tuesday 11th August.
Other Fairs during the year will be on Saturdays: 7th March, 6th June, 19th September, and 5th December ( closure 3.30.p.m )
