A Vintage Fair weekend has been organised by Broadway Fairs and will take place on both Saturday and Sunday. Some stallholders will be there on both days but some on just the one so it is worth calling in on both days to catch something different. There will be a good array of Vintage items to buy, crockery, jewellery, clothing, books, small furniture and so much more. Light refreshments available until 3.p.m. Fair open from 10.a.m. until 3.30.p.m. ( most stallholders will be set up by 9.a.m so please call early if it fits in better with your days plans ).
Tickets will be available to buy for the Ribble Valley Jazz big band who will be appearing live at the Hall on Friday 21st June. Please ask to see Caroline ( stalls by the Piano ), ticket cost 10.00 per person. There will be a licensed bar and hot sandwiches to purchase in the interval. Café style seating on the night but also an area free for dancing too.
Now to Table Tennis!! – The Village Hall committee have recently purchased a brand new full size table tennis table. The plans are to use the Annex each Friday from 6.p.m until 10.p.m for this new venture. Please contact Peter on 01756 748758 to register your interest. Ideally we would be delighted if a keen player or players would be interested in running a club, this would involve setting up a timetable for games, possibly organising matches and collecting the subs. The Annex is a light, warm, comfortable room and seating is available for watching the games. Why not get involved in a new hobby and keep fit, its better than pounding the cold wet streets!
