We shall be holding five Book Fairs at the Village Hall during 2023. The first of the year will be held on the 4th March. Doors open at 10.a.m until 4.p.m. Admission is 50p or by donation. There are thousands of books for sale, ranging from general titles through to speciality, rare and antiquarian. Many of the stallholders are established book dealers who come from all over the North West of England. Occasionally there may be local authors in attendance promoting and signing their work. Light refreshments are available until 3.p.m.
In 2021 we trialled a mid week Book Fair in the summer which went exceptionally well so we shall be holding another on Tuesday 15th August.
Other Fairs during the year will be on Saturdays: 4th March, 3rd June, 23rd September, 2nd December ( closure 3.30.p.m )
